We would like to understand the panelization capabilities of the FAB 3000 software. We have SMT production, and many times the sub-panel design is in our hands how we want to design it.

Step-file generation seem to work fine. One question about drill holes. They do not appear to be round holes in the step-file, maybe due to via-copper thickness selected. Is there any tricks for via generation into step file?

How do I change the auto save path & frequency? I checked the help guide, & the picture it provides of there being a menu option to change the time increment does not show up for me.

When I set the "Minimum Clearance: Plated Drills to Copper" test condition to 5.1 mils, FAB3000 does not report any issues, even though I have spacing of 4.9 mils in my design.

When I open FAB3000 (or load a series of Gerber files), the left column that shows the layers panel and aerial view is not shown.
