FAB 3000 has an internal Clipboard which allows you to easily copy, cut. and paste objects between Jobs and Panels. This can be very useful for performing comparison, panel editing, and more.
Anchor Point: When performing Clipboard commands Copy or Cut, you can determine the insertion point used when performing Paste from Clipboard.
LowerLeft: After selecting objects the extents box will be calculated, and the lower-left coordinate will be used as the insertion point when performing Paste to Clipboard. This is the default.
Center: After selecting objects the extents box will be calculated, and the center coordinate will be used as the insertion point when performing Paste to Clipboard.
Origin: Allows the origin to remain the same when pasting into other jobs or panels. If you wish to keep coordinates the same between source (copy, cut) and destination (paste) jobs and panels, then select "Origin" for the Anchor point.
Note: When Pasting from Clipboard, make sure to enter 0,0 to keep origin the same as the source objects from the original Job/Panel .
Sample Usage:
1. Select Objects to copy to clipboard. 2. Go to menu: Edit / Clipboard / Copy to Clipboard 3. Select Anchor Point (i.e. the origin used for selected objects).
4. Open or create a new job/panel, and paste those objects. ( Edit / Clipboard / Paste from Clipboard). Select insert location to paste objects.
