I tried several times to install and reinstall the software and had no luck getting it to open. It just stalls after starting. I am using Windows 10.

Anytime FAB3000 begins to buffer (at start up) would indicate there an antivirus program (like McAfee, Win Defender, Avant, etc.) sees the FAB3000 executable as a threat, and prevents the proper execution. We use the highest possible code sign the
The FAB3000 executable file is digitally code signed with the highest-level of security protocols possible, and incorporates the Numerical Innovations digital signature. Using file explorer (of any file browser) feel free to select the the FAB3000 executable file (FAB3000-V8_64.exe) and right click to view digital signatures and authentication.
Solution:
Add the FAB3000 executable into the Ignore list of the antivirus software, or
Try requesting the FAB3000 uncompressed installer or the FAB3000 32-bit installer.
Truthfully wish there was a better method to regulate the many false positives by antivirus tools - as they seem to cause more IT/engineering downtimes preventing digitally-signed commercial software from executing properly.
