Ensures the electrical integrity of any PCB Design! Netlist Comparison verifies your PCB manufacturing files (i.e Gerber, NC, ODB++, IPC-2581) have been outputted correctly from the PCB Layout software.
Net Definitions explained:
CAM Net: Netlist Extracted by FAB 3000 from (i.e Gerber, NC, ODB++, IPC-2581, etc.).
IPC (External) Net: IPC Netlist file generated by any PCB layout tools and imported into FAB 3000 (menu: File | Import | Netlist...).
Find Open Nets (Critical): CAM net differs from the IPC net. There is a very good chance the electrical integrity of the PCB Design is compromised. Default: Checked
Find Shorted Nets (Critical): CAM net connects with two or more different IPC nets. There is a very good chance the electrical integrity of the PCB Design is compromised. Default: Checked
Find Missing Copper Locations: IPC net exists where no extracted CAM net was defined. This may be non-critical (caused by a single point net or CAM object without a net). Default: Unchecked
Find Missing IPC Nets: CAM net exists where no IPC net was defined. This is low level check and typically not required. Usually a single point net with no connection (n/c). Default: Unchecked
