When I turn off the visibility of the red layer in the side menu, a white frame is visible all the time.

The constant display of the white frame (i.e "job profile" or PCB border) is an option that was recently introduced to FAB 3000.  To prevent the display of the Job Profile (PCB Border), uncheck menu:  View / Job Profile
