My goal was to save time by extracting complicated footprints which I did succeed in extracting somewhat but the footprint library it creates isnt portable or native to any pcb packages is it ?
Many PCB software tools can import either an ODB++ or IPC-2581 file. If your PCB software can import either format, than I recommend using FAB 3000 to export as ODB++ or IPC-2581. If you tool does not support those formats (or spreadsheet formats like Excel, CSV) -- let us know what format you'd like to have and we can implement it.
