To generate Drill data from a 3D STEP (or STL) requires that you have "Round Flashes" for your drill holes.
During STEP import, FAB 3000 can automatically convert any holes to Round flashes, please make sure the Step Import Option "Flash Round and Rect Shapes" is checked.
Use the command "Gerber Layer to Drill" which will convert all round flashes to NC Drill data (i.e Tool#, Diameter, etc.). Located in menu: Fabrication / Drill
Export NC Drill file.
