After importing my NC Rout file, I noticed an invalid plunge/retract point which I need to remove. I tried using Join Wizard (Automatic) to remove it, however is there an easier way.

Use the command "Delete Vertex". Go to menu: Edit / Vertex / Delete Vertex, and select the vertex point where the short exists.
