I am having difficulties using the LUA editor in FAB 3000, is there a better way to write apps?

You can use any "text editor" to write the LUA script (I understand the FAB editor can be awkward).  I personally use Notepad++ to write lua script files.

Note:  Once the script file (*.lua) is written you can Run it (menu: Applications / Run App...).
