Hello, I tried searching through your forum to see if there was any way to automatically cut out any silk screen that is not within the border. The only result I could find was back in January 2011 and the answer was that it was not yet implemented but you should have an option in 7 to 10 days.
Is this feature available? If so, could you point me in the right direction as I can't seem to find how to do it?
Thanks a lot!

Thanks for your question.
To crop silkscreen objects be the border, please make sure to first define a border layer.
Note: The border must be a closed-continuous line.
The easiest way to create a border layer is to import your data (Gerber, Drill, ODB++, etc.), and then use the command "Generate Border Layer":
(A) Go to menu: Fabrication / Detect Border (Automatic)...
(B) Select an object on your PCB border.
FAB 3000 will automatically create a closed closed-continuous line, and place it on the border layer.
Now when your run "Silkscreen Optimizer" it will crop any silkscreen objects within the border.
