I was trying to modify the overlay and add in a graphic. How do I do this?

Once a design is in Gerber format it is simply lines, arcs, circles with X,Y coordinates. There is no longer any intelligence or associations, so editing gerbers can be a bit more tedious that in a CAD tool or Word processor.
If you wish to import a graphic file (like BMP, TIFF, etc.) into the overlay please be aware of these rules: 1. Images with colors are not usable in Gerber - just black/white. 2. You should have an idea what scale you want you image imported. For example what scale should a 100x100 pixel tiff file be import as 100 mils, 100 mm, or 100 inches.

Here's a tutorial movie from the FAB 3000 user forum to import an image onto a silkscreen.

Thanks again, and please let me know if you have any other questions.
