Hi. So I just received the new version 7 in the hopes that this version had the functionalty to separate plated and non-plated thru holes in a design here the designer included both on the same drill file. I have browsed the help files and videos but I'm not sure where I should be looking. If you could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it!

There are two suggestions to define non plated drills on the same layer.
SUGGESTION #1: Change Plated Item in NC Tools Table
1. Import Drill file. 2. Go to the Drill Table (menu: Setup | NC Tools Table...) 3. Go to the Plated column, and uncheck any tools which will be unplated.
SUGGESTION #2: Create a Separate layer for Non-Plated Drills
1. Import Drill file. 2. Go to menu: Fabrication > Drill > Separate Non-Plated Drills... 3. Verify options.
Note: Typically larger holes are non-plated, so you may assign a minimum diameter for non-plated holes (or set to 0). Also, any drill holes that are defined as "Unplated" (in the Tools table -- see above) will be placed on the new Non-Plated Drill layer.
This command will create a new layer with all larger non-plated holes, and assign the layer type "Drill NonPlated".
