If there is a problem during activation, ACE 3000 specifically tells you the exact problem in the dialog window.

The three most common problems during Activation are:

1.  The directory or file storing the License File (CDM) is write-protected.
2.  The Activation code is already in use.
3.  The Activation code is in Lockout Mode.

1.  The directory or file storing the License File (CDM) is write-protected.

It appears that you have ACE 3000 installed in "folder" that does not have write permission.  The default installation folder for
ACE 3000 (Version 6) is,

C:\Numerical Innovations\ACE 3000

Note:  You should install ACE 3000 into the folder where you have "read/write" access, so ACE 3000 may access the license file.   If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, you cannot install ACE 3000 into the "C:\Program Files" folder because Windows does not permit Read/Write access.

Note:  Unfortunately we cannot determine exactly from here how ACE 3000 is installed on your computer.  My recommendation would be to "uninstall" ACE 3000 completely from your computer.  Then install ACE 3000 (make sure you choose a folder that has read/write access), and then enter your "Activation Code".  If there is a problem ACE 3000 will tell you in the dialog.

2.  The Activation code is already in use.

Typically you will receive this message is you are attempting to activate ACE 3000 on a new computer without first "De-Activating" ACE 3000 on your old computer.  Here's the instructions how to de-activate:

3.  The Activation code is in Lockout Mode.

This error occurs when you have repeatedly entered a wrong "Password" more than 3 times.  ACE 3000 will think that you are attempting to illegally activate the software.  A cooling period will be defined and displayed in the dialog window.  Either wait out the cooling period or contact support for more assistance:
