Allow Single Point Nets - This will assign a net value to a single pad that is not connected to any traces. Usually this can be unchecked because single pads have no other electrical connectivity and not very using for net comparison or testing.
Allow Nets without pads - This will assign a net value to any trace or polygon even if there is no pad in the net. Usually this option can be checked however it may cause problems during extraction when text is on metal layers; because a net will be generated for each text character.
