GDS-II to BMP resulted in a small BMP file that was invalid. How to generate a bitmap with 10 nanometer resolution?

I believe the reason for your invalid bitmap, was due to selecting an export resolution that was too large.
Your sample GDS-II design is approximately 100 x 100 micron, so I would recommend outputting a bitmap with resolution of at least 1/10 micron or smaller. In this demo I chose a resolution of 10 nm for the bitmap file.
Here's a tutorial movie showing me use ACE to convert to GDS to BMP (10 nm resolution),

Thanks again.
