Some ODB++ drill layers are incorrectly created by PCB Layout software - which do not include "tools section" (defines tool diameter and other properties). When checked ACE will create and assign a tool number for each unique pad diameter found on NC layers (within a tolerance of 0.05mm).

Breaks down complex surfaces into Polygons. The ODB++ surface is similar to a Solid Hatch in AutoCAD.
