We are converting STP files to Gerber. The problem is ACE always recognizes our STP file as two layers while we only have one layer. Can you help us if we can combine those layers in ACE 3000? Thanks.

During STP Import options, please use the option "Edge Extraction" (see below). This will prevent duplicate layers.
Note: Using Surface Extraction, ACE will create a new layer for each surface it encounters. Thus even a single layer STP file will have a minimum of 2 surfaces (Top / Bottom).
Note: Using Edge Extraction, ACE will generate 2D boundaries from the STP and combine those layers, as you have requested.
