As you may be aware, autodesk recently rolled out its 2018 update. Currently, I am unable to run any 2018 format dwg files through ACE 3000, which we use through a numerical cloud subscription to generate bmp, gerber and dxf format files.

Yes, with the AutoCAD 2018 DWG format there are significant internal changes to the format. Unfortunately we are currently unable to support that format, however when an update is available for 2018 DWG support we will be sure to make an announcement.
Currently from AutoCAD 2018, I would recommend saving as 2017 DWG or any DXF version.
