ODB++ Import is very slow. How can I speed it up?

To improve ODB++ import times by up to 20X, please perform the following:


  1. Go to ACE menu:  Setup / Preferences...
  2. Select tab "Misc"
  3. Check the option "Optimize Polygons during Import"  (see screen capture below).
  4. Press OK, to save settings change.


Now import your ODB++ and it should be much faster.  Here's a screen capture of the Preferences dialog.
