The ACE 3000 icon has been removed from my desktop after installation - why?

Most likely you are using an anti-virus program called "Bitdefender".  For some reason it attacks ACE and completely removes the exe file, without any specific reason.

You will need to instruct Bitdefender to ignore ACE3000v7.exe

We have additionally embedded our code signature inside the executable file ACE3000v7.exe to hopefully prevent aggressive anti-virus programs from removing ACE.
