I test similar convertion in attach file and many "join error" occur. Can you tell me how to set some value to skip error? Or you can tell me I should refer which part of manual. Thanks a lot!

Thank you for your question.

The problem with the conversion is not ACE Translator 3000, it is due to poor construction of the DWG.  Please remember to fill a boundary for Gerber, the boundary must have 2 rules:
1. Closed and continuous
2. No Self-Intersections

If you wish to simplify DWG to Gerber conversions we recommend that the DWG file is cleaned before conversion.  Clean means to make sure all boundaries are closed with no self-intersection.

Note:  If the DWG has errors, than it will need to be cleaned in ACE (which is an extra step).  This is a very common problem, fortunately ACE has a powerful editor so it can fix these errors.  We have many articles written about this on our website and user forum:

Note: You may instantly search the ACE user forum for help by typing "join" into the ACE box: Need Help? Type a Question

Please view my movie tutorial which shows how to properly convert the files:

Thanks again!

Here's the written text from the tutorial:

Clean DWG and export to Gerber.

FIRST STEP:  View DWG in CAD to see problems:

A. Boundary is open and missing a side -- Probably a design mistake by the draftsman who created the DWG.

B. 0-Length LWPolyline in the DWG -- I don't know why?

C. And several other errors

D. DWG also has a bad origin (2800mm,0mm) - I don't know why draftsman would do this.

-----------------

1. Start ACE 3000.

2. Select DWG Import, Gerber for Export.

3. Check Join for all layers.

4. Use option "Force Close" for join.  This is needed because some entity in DWG is missing a side. See error (A) from above.

5. View Join errors.

6. Delete 0-length line and other non-needed entities.

7. Use DE-Embed for objects on the left.

8. Export to Gerber..
Note, the 3rd link above (searchid=36960419&sort=lastpost&order=desc) is no longer working.
