ACE fully supports Copy/Paste of text in controls. The ACE GUI library works cross platform (on Windodws, Linux, Sun, Apple MAC) called FOX Toolkit, so if you right-click and do not see a menu - simply use the standard short-cut keys:
Ctrl+C = Copy
Ctrl+V = Paste
Ctrl+X = Cut
This will allow you to copy/paste text between controls. If there is a specific control that you are having difficultly with, simply let us know.
