Recently, I've another question concerning the conversion of NC/Drill to GDSII. I hope you could also help me with this. While processing the conversion, every area (in this case round ones) looks good in the ACE CAD viewer. But after importing the files with other GDSII tools, these circle areas were rectangular. Is there any setting, where I could change this? For example increasing the resolution. We'll have to review why drill holes are being converted to "squares" (for GDSII export). I believe since circles are not directly supported in GDSII, that ACE just outputs as boxes (I'll need to verify this).
