Gerber into DXF: Slots are exported as curves, but we need the four individual lines or two lines and two circles. Can I configure the export?

It depends how the original Gerber file was generated. For example if the gerber file was generated with "line fills" the resulting DXF will contain line fills.
This rule holds true when converting all CAD formats. However, ACE provides many Tools & Editing features which allow you to modify the geometries before exporting. To change the geometries before exporting to DXF, please try any of these Tools in the ACE Editor:
* Menu: Tools | Merge Overlapping Objects... * Menu: Tools | Convert to Rectangle * Menu: Tools | Convert to Circle * Menu: Tools | Join Lines/Arcs * Plus ACE contains a full suite of editing commands and many other features.
When your finished editing, goto menu: File | Back to Conversion Setup... and then configure your DXF export.
If you require step-by-step instructions, please e-mail your gerber file to our support team: [email protected]
