I noticed a couple new layers were added as I was creating a panel, adding V-score lines, and playing around. What actions create new layers?

Hi, I have converted a pdf file to gerber, the ground plane appears as many separate polygons and this increases the size of the gerbe file to be sent to the producer. How do I join the polygons in order to have a single object?

My objective is to import gerber file from other software, and then export to odb++, while such odb++ could be read by my ANSYS workbench software correctly.

Is there a solution to get a net ends count? There are times when we need to know the number of net ends in order to calculate the cost of a test jig.

I am interested in the SMT Stencil DFM Check -- Minimum Volume: SMT Stencil Pad. Where does it pull the thickness to calculate the volume from?
