Large corporate and government networks can be very restrictive in regards to what software applications are permitted to run in their environments (especially Windows).   In most situations, either a firewall or antivirus tool is seeing our software application as a threat and prevents the execution.

Note:  All our executables are uniquely code-signed to ensure there has been no tampering, etc.  In most cases our code-signature is good enough to pass most corporate Firewalls and Antivirus applications.

In these situations, there are 4 different things I would try (in any order):

  1. Run as Administrator.  If possible please try right-clicking over the application icon and select "Run As Administrator".
  2. Update Ignore List (in Firewall/Antivirus).  Try adding the executable file (for example:  FAB3000-V8_64.exe) to the "ignore" list for firewall/antivirus.  This will prevent these tools from blocking our application at startup.
  3. Uncompressed Installer.  We do offer an uncompressed version of our applications that may run more efficiently in your environment.
  4. 32-bit Installer. Try downloading and installing the 32-bit version of our applications. For whatever reason firewall and/or antivirus tend to allow 32-bit applications to pass (while blocking the 64-bit), and there's only a small performance difference compared to FAB 30000 64-bit.

Thanks again.
