After Installing an Update of your software tools, I am asked to re-enter my activation code -- why?

IMPORTANT: If you are asked to enter your activation code (after installing an update of our software tools), please exit and then restart.

Why? Sometimes after Installation, the system registry needs to be refreshed. By exiting and restarting will allow the system registry variables to be updated - and your activation code to be detected.
